Project: Aspen Dental and ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers

Location: The Hurstbourne Town Center, off Shelbyville Road and Hurstbourne Parkway

Description: The one-story building is being built in the Hurstbourne Town Center, a 27-acre site owned by Viking Partners, a Cincinnati-based investment management firm.

Aspen Dental is a chain with more than 900 offices around the country. There are currently 11 offices in Kentucky, including two in Louisville and one in Lexington, according to the chain’s website.

According to its website, the chain’s locations offer different services like walk-in emergency care, implants, denture visits, among other situations.

The space was “build to suit,” said Abbe Murray, director of construction for Viking Partners. She said this is this is the first project built to suit two companies, Aspen Dental and ClearChoice Dental Implants, which Aspen Dental acquired in 2020.

The exterior of the building is supposed to be completed by August and the interior is expected to be done by November, Murray said.

Cost: Because the building has not been sold, Viking Partners has not disclosed the cost of the construction, said Hannah Duckworth, investor relations and marketing manager.

What’s being replaced: Parking spaces.

Size: 10,087 square feet, according to Murray.

Developer: Viking Partners.
