Viking invests based upon the intrinsic value of a property, rather than chasing investment returns based on financial engineering provided by leverage. Viking primarily focuses on properties in the geographic markets it understands best – the Midwest, Southeast and Mountain West.
Viking acquires properties directly and through joint ventures (both as the general partner or as a limited partner). Additionally, Viking looks to deploy capital through limited debt strategies and preferred equity structures.
Viking has investments in retail, multi-story office, single-story office/flex, industrial and hospitality. Viking’s business plan remains the same since the firm’s inception – buy it, fix it, sell it.
